Take a look at BERTHA: Grateful Drag, an all-drag grateful dead tribute band.
At public Emily, I was charged with leading all socials and design for BERTHA. This included creating content calendars, posting, designing admats/graphics/posters, managing email marketing campaigns, and editing video content. The below are a few projects I did during my 12 months working closely with the band.
BERTHA's first ever live album. I created the entire album cover in Photoshop, with many renditions and drafts edited in collaboration with the band.
BERTHA's most recent single. I created the artwork in Photoshop and Illustrator and collaborated with the band to make edits and come to a final draft.
BERTHA's Spring 2026 Admat. I created the admat in Photoshop, with the help of my Creative Director proofreading and providing edits before we went to the band for their thoughts. I was constantly updating the admat in Photoshop as shows passed.
BERTHA's Summer/Fall 2026 admat. The art was made by an external artist, and I edited layout and details in Photoshop. Many variations of this admat were created to accommodate for new shows being announced, as well as removing past shows.
The event graphic for BERTHA's performance at Key West Pride. I created this in both Photoshop and Illustrator, using various tools to make the classic postcard design.
Artist Sizzle Reel
As the band began to book bigger and bigger rooms, we needed an eye-catching digital ad that told the story of who BERTHA is. I created this sizzle reel in Premiere, using content captured by various videographers + photographers on tour.
This ad was used across Meta platforms, and garnered thousands of clicks, which then led to thousands of tickets being bought.
Visualizers
When new music is released, we always created visualizers so that their songs would be visible on Youtube. I ideated and created the below visualizers for both the album tracks and the recent single tracks. I maintained the brand identity with the rainbow motif and font styles to stay consistent with the rest of the campaign.
